ARE YEEZY SLIDES WORTH IT IN 2026?

Updated Feb 2026 · Honest review
Yeezy Slide Review

Yeezy Slides are everywhere. They've gone from impossible-to-get hype pieces to one of the most common slides on the street. But at $70 retail (and $60-120 on resale depending on colorway), are they actually worth your money? Here's the honest take.

COMFORT: 9/10

This is where Yeezy Slides genuinely earn their reputation. The EVA foam is incredibly soft — softer than Birkenstock EVAs, Nike Calm slides, or any $20 Amazon dupe. The footbed contours to your foot after a few wears, and the arch support is surprisingly good for a fashion slide.

The one comfort complaint: they can feel slightly tight across the top of the foot until they break in (usually 2-3 days of wear). This is directly related to the sizing issue below.

SIZING: TRICKY

Critical sizing advice: Yeezy Slides run small. Go at least a full size up from your true size. If you're a half size (like 10.5), go up to 12 since Yeezy Slides only come in whole sizes. Better slightly loose than painfully tight.

This is the #1 complaint about Yeezy Slides and it's legitimate. If you order your normal size, they will be too tight. The foam softens over time but never stretches significantly. Size up.

DURABILITY: 7/10

The foam is durable for casual wear — grocery runs, beach trips, around the house. But the sole wears down faster than you'd expect on rough surfaces like concrete. After 6-12 months of regular outdoor use, the tread flattens noticeably. They're not indestructible.

Water resistance is excellent. They handle rain, pools, and showers without any issues. The foam dries quickly and doesn't absorb odor as much as fabric slides.

STYLE: POLARIZING

You either love the chunky, futuristic look or you think they look like orthopedic shoes. There's no middle ground. But the cultural impact is undeniable — Yeezy Slides basically created the premium foam slide category that every brand now copies.

BEST COLORWAYS & PRICES

Yeezy Slide "Onyx" (Black)

Retail: $70
Resell: $80 - $110

The most versatile colorway. Goes with everything. Slightly above retail on most sizes.

Yeezy Slide "Bone" (Off-White)

Retail: $70
Resell: $70 - $95

Clean summer colorway. Can be found at or below retail. Great entry point.

Yeezy Slide "Slate Grey"

Retail: $70
Resell: $65 - $85

Often the cheapest colorway. Sitting below retail on many sizes. Best value pick.

VS THE COMPETITION

vs Nike Calm Slide ($50): Cheaper, easier to find, decent comfort. But noticeably less cushioning than Yeezys. Good budget alternative.

vs Birkenstock EVA ($45): Different vibe entirely. Birkenstocks have better arch support for all-day wear. Yeezys are softer but less structured.

vs Amazon Dupes ($15-25): The dupes look similar but the foam quality is night and day. If you just need slides for the pool, save the money. If comfort matters, the Yeezy foam is genuinely better.

FINAL VERDICT

At $65-80 on resale (some colorways are below retail now), Yeezy Slides are worth it if you value comfort and like the aesthetic. They're the most comfortable foam slide on the market and the price has come down significantly since the adidas Yeezy restocks. Just remember to size up.

If you're on a budget, the Slate Grey or Bone colorways are your best bet — often available at or below retail. Use SneakyRadar to compare prices across platforms before buying.
